Customer Focus Group launch

aMaizin! Launch new Customer Focus Group and invite customers to actively participate in the ongoing success of the business.

aMaizin! has launched plans for a customer focus group which will be formed from customers who have supported the venture and can help to ensure the continued success of the destination. They are hoping to attract a diverse group of customers who can help shape the company’s direction. It is also hoped to attract at least one member from Guernsey due to the high number of visits achieved from our sister island.

The agri-tourism attraction began life six years ago and has become one of Jersey’s foremost family destinations and steps are now being taken to enable a careful balance between growth and the initial concept of a family orientated countryside activity venue.

"We are a very customer focused business" said Kristina Le Feuvre "and that is confirmed by the positive comments we receive. However, much of this information is gleamed from conversations during the height of our business in the Summer and we don’t always have the time to sit back and analyze feedback concisely. aMaizin! has evolved but kept the simplicity of the original concept, we are hoping to enter a stage of rationalization during 2007 and intend to progress with the assistance of our most important asset – our customers!"

It is hoped to achieve a rich dialogue on critical subjects with people who most often have the best information. Participants will have an early look at, and influence over, product strategy and direction. It is intended to utilize the information received as part of a larger customer care strategy.

Carlton Le Feuvre added "We both feel that this is an extension of the way we already operate. We would like to invite a cross selection of people to put their names forward and we intend on meeting four to six times a year." "We are fortunate that people already pass on a lot of ideas, we get some great letters from overseas visitors with thoughts and suggestions, and the fact that we both work on site in the business is definitely an asset, but we want to strengthen an initial vision that is strongly supported by our customers.

Customers are invited to send their details and a brief synopsis on number of visits and ages of their children to contact@jerseyleisure.com . In the event that a large number of responses are received, the customer focus group will be chosen to represent a cross section of customer’s interests. However, all interested parties will have an opportunity to engage in the overall strategy.

aMaizin Maze is currently being re-branded to incorporate the diverse range of family amenities. The opening of aMaizin! Craft has required a more distinct label and after customer consultation the decision was made to simplify the brand. aMaizin! forms the "brand essence" with each corresponding area of the attraction becoming more distinctly labelled.
