MEDIA RELEASE

aMaizin! open their attraction to Mont A L’Abbe School

aMaizin! Maze and Adventure Park are offering free entrance into the Park for Mont A L’Abbe School during organized school activity sessions.

Owners Carlton and Kristina Le Feuvre are delighted to offer this facility due in part to the generous sponsorship of local companies who have purchased and installed integrated disabled equipment. Equity Trust, Carey Olsen and Islands Insurance all donated equipment that could be used jointly by able bodied and disabled children.

Kristina Le Feuvre commented "We have been monitoring the situation with Mont A L’Abbe for some time and feel uncomfortable charging the pupils during organized school visits, especially as they have a high teacher/ pupil ratio. The obvious enjoyment from the pupils of Mont A L’Abbe reminds us every time they visit why we operate the Park as we do, and we feel that this is a natural move for us.

"The launch of our integrated disabled initiative has allowed children with special needs to enjoy the Park without feeling alienated and we are delighted that the success of this project will provide a benefit for the school. School funds are finite and we would like the teachers to have a greater degree of flexibility when organizing a visit," said Carlton Le Feuvre.

Sharon Eddie, headteacher at Mont A L’Abbe said ’We are always looking for learning opportunities in safe and stimulating outdoor environments, Amaizin! Maze and Adventure Park is ideal and provides the children with challenging fun experiences which we can tailor to their individual needs. This is a very generous gift to the school from Carlton, Kristina and all their sponsors, and will be received with great enthusiasm from children and staff alike.
